A local restaurant group named Happy Fork is introducing three new dining concepts to Chapin, South Carolina. The CEO of Happy Fork, Ron Pereira, stated in an interview that they are thrilled to bring these concepts to Chapin and be a part of the community. All three of the dining options will be located in the Chapin Commons, near Columbia Avenue and Chapin High School.
The first of the restaurants, Griffin Chop House, is set to open in November. Named after Happy Fork’s Executive Chef Henry Griffin, this eatery offers an affordable dining experience for families. Chef Griffin has years of experience, having worked as an executive chef at various restaurants. Pereira stated that they have fine-tuned their menu and concept in Lexington, where they have already opened a branch of Griffin Chop House.
The menu at Griffin Chop House features mouth-watering options, including Certified Angus Beef burgers, steaks, and tallow dry aged specials. For those who prefer something other than steak, they also have cedar plank salmon, bar-b-que ribs, pulled pork, smoked sausage, and more. The side options are well thought-out and expertly prepared, with salads and sides like crispy green beans and roasted wild mushrooms.
The restaurant also has a dessert bar named Dessert Deca, which will showcase an assortment of desserts and pastries, including a Dessert of the Week created by students in the Chapin High School Culinary Program. The dessert bar is a great opportunity for students to showcase their talents and provide fresh and unique desserts for the patrons of Griffin Chop House.
Griffin Chop House offers indoor and outdoor seating, with a fully enclosed patio between building one and two. It is family and pet-friendly, with free Wi-Fi available throughout the complex. With two bars, it is the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a family dinner. Come and taste the delicious food, atmosphere, and experience that Griffin Chop House has to offer!
